This is a haunting portrayal of a lone wolf made from cold cast bronze. He stands upon a crag calling into the night. His howl, no doubt, echoed repeatedly in the night time air. The wolf is himself a guarded and secretive creature, a predator of the secret night-time hours . Wolves have been often called "the children of the night" and this figure certainly affords well with that portrayal.
